An adequate source of fermentable fibre to maintain rumen health and fermentable carbohydrate for energy with the added ionophore (Bovatec) to help prevent pregnancy toxaemia and ketosis.

Also added is a palatable source of macro minerals including calcium and magnesium to help prevent hypocalcaemia (milk fever) and hypomagnesaemia (grass tetany). Suitable for lactating cows and ewes.

Cow & Ewe Pellet has a good Protein to Energy ratio.

To be fed as a supplement to cattle and sheep only.

The mineral and vitamin density of the pellet is sufficient to provide all their requirements if a shortage of forage makes them heavily reliant on the pellet. The pellet contains lasalocid (Bovatec) to improve the efficiency of the rumen fermentation.

If forage availability is limited, good quality hay or silage should be provided ad libitum to ensure sufficient intake of effective roughage to maintain rumen health.

Macrominerals, trace elements, and vitamins provided meet or exceed Australian Feeding Standards and National Research Council minimum requirements.

All protein provided in the form of high quality true protein, from protein meals and grains – no urea.

Products should be fed with adequate roughage.
